Auburn Place: Cozy 3BR Home in Wauwatosa

Aimee’s place was so beautiful and just what our family of 4 needed when coming into town to see family. The design and details put into the house make it feel so elevated. We had everything we needed (towels, linens, hair dryer) and it was all clean and cozy when we arrived. The kids loved the little play nook as well. We would love to stay again when we are in the area.

The house is old & adorable! Has an odor in the home that’s been trying to be covered up. There’s an upstairs master that you have to use really steep and narrow step risers to reach it. It’s the old attic stairs. The bedroom has an angled roof which can be challenging for taller people. The bathroom up stairs is not any bigger than a closet. The sink opening is about 8”. Very tight in the bathroom. The downstairs original bathroom is very nice!! We had some issues when staying there but were resolved by my husband.The kitchen utensils etc are very nice. It’s a very quaint home. But if concerned with steep stairs, consider something different. A few issues about cleanliness but they had cleaning supplies for us to use. Fantastic walking area and very close to downtown Tosa!

We needed a place for the whole family (plus dogs) to stay while we were in the process of selling our home, and this turned out to be the perfect bungalow for us. Great check-in and check out processes, pet friendly, adorable place!! The hosts were super responsive and wonderful. Loved it!!

The home is comfortable and beautiful come up with comfortable beds and wonderful linens and towels. It is in a nice neighborhood and close to walking trails and just across the bridge from Tosa with easy access to restaurants. The property was only about four minutes from Froedtert Hospital, which helped us immensely. We enjoyed our stay and expect to be back soon.

Great neighborhood. Cozy house. Kids loved it. Close to everything in town.
